In the late 80's, I cut my teeth on a local AM station in the morning, and a TV station in the evening-all for the same owner.
Got my board license, and moved on. Married, with five children, retired and currently I own an Online/AM/FM low watt station. In my spare time I narrate audiobooks, a voiceover talent, and an avid harmonica player.
My Dad got me hooked on Vintage radio shows, Big Bands and Legendary Standards, and I know you will be hooked as well. Radio was just plain cool back then, and this station will keep it alive once again. From Dragnet, Father Knows Best, Johnny Dollar, Dean Martin, Doris Day and old Blue Eyes himself, you are a part of the greatest generation that ever was!
